Face to face interaction to help troubleshoot ubuntu issues

I just can not understand as to why people would buy windows when all that they do is just check email, news, write documents on word, sometimes as DVD player, store their photos from digital camera. Ubuntu would do all of the above really well and all of them for free!

I think the biggest reason for people still going for windows is that they think if they have an issue with their computer they can not find anyone to help them. I think one way to help these people out is to setup ubuntu troubleshooting network. Some face to face interaction would help. Why not set up a group of volunteers that would sit in front of a store or mall and give out free CDs and also let them know that if they wanted it installed they could even bring their laptops over and the volunteers could install Ubuntu.
